    Freewheel Removal Tool

The White Industries 4-Notch Freewheel Removal Tool is designed to make freewheel removal simple, secure, and reliable. Precision-machined for a precise fit, this tool is compatible with all White Industries freewheels, including those used on Track, ENO, and ENO ECC (Eccentric) hubs. It also works with other freewheels that use a compatible 4-notch interface.

Built for both home mechanics and professional workshops, the tool provides a secure engagement with the freewheel body to help prevent slipping during removal. Its durable construction is designed to withstand repeated use, making it a dependable addition to any toolbox.

A second, offset access hole allows the tool to be secured to the axle when servicing ENO ECC (Eccentric) hubs. This added feature helps keep the tool properly aligned, making freewheel removal easier on eccentric hub applications.

    Freewheel Outer Gears

    Product Details

When we designed our freewheels we intentionally made them rebuildable rather than disposable.  If you ride a lot, eventually you are going to need a new outer gear.  We recommend replacing your chain (and probably your chainring too) when replacing your outer gear because worn out chains don’t usually work well with new outer gears.

    • Comes with an Enduro chromium steel bearing installed with snap ring
    • Bearings are are made from chromium steel, and use a special Mobil XHP222 extra high pressure grease
    • It’s a good idea to also purchase a new seal and O-ring when replacing your outer gear, available on the Parts>Freewheel Parts>Freewheel Seals page

    Compatibility

    • If you are switching your outer gear to a 16T freewheel or 16/19T double freewheel from any other size, you will also need to purchase a new lockring on the Parts>Freewheel Parts>Freewheel Lockrings page

    Product Details

Just a note that we don’t sell many freewheel bearings by themselves.  Usually if the bearing goes bad, your outer gear is probably worn out too.  The outer gears come with a bearing and snap ring installed so if you’re purchasing a new outer gear, you don’t need to purchase a separate bearing.  Our freewheel bearings are Enduro brand chromium steel and use a special Mobil XHP222 extra high pressure grease.
