    EC34/EC44 Headset

The White Industries EC34 | EC44 Threadless Headset delivers smooth steering, lasting durability, and timeless style for modern bicycles. We machine, polish, engrave, and inspect every headset in our Petaluma, California facility. As a result, the EC34 | EC44 offers the premium craftsmanship and dependable performance riders have trusted for decades.

For more than 30 years, White Industries has designed components that prioritize precision, reliability, and serviceability. The EC34 | EC44 Threadless Headset continues that tradition with premium materials, thoughtful engineering, and a clean, refined design built to last.

Every headset features premium Enduro stainless steel angular contact bearings for smooth, consistent steering in all riding conditions. These bearings are fully replaceable, making routine maintenance quick and easy while extending the life of your headset.

The EC34 | EC44 also features our split crown race design. It installs and removes by hand without specialized tools, making future service simple. In addition, every headset receives precision machine-engraved logos—not laser etched—for a premium finish that reflects the attention to detail found in every White Industries component.

The White Industries EC34 | EC44 Threadless Headset is designed for frames with a 34mm upper and 44mm lower head tube. It supports both straight and tapered fork steerers when paired with the correct crown race. Because headset standards vary between manufacturers, we recommend confirming your bike’s SHIS (Standardized Headset Identification System) specifications before placing your order.

Whether you’re upgrading your current bike or building a custom frame from the ground up, the White Industries EC34 | EC44 Threadless Headset delivers smooth performance, premium craftsmanship, and American-made quality built to last.

Stylish, durable, and easily serviceable.  Those were the goals when designing our headsets.  We machine engrave our logos for a classy look, use durable and easily replaceable Enduro stainless steel angular contact bearings, and use a “split” crown race design that you can install and remove by hand.

The ZS44│EC44 headset is designed to fit frames with 44mm head tubes and can accommodate straight and tapered fork steerers with the appropriate crown race.  But nowadays with all the different headset standards available we needed to get specific so check the SHIS specs below.  SHIS?  Yep, that’s the “Standardized Headset Identification System” used to verify compatibility.
