The EC34 | EC34 also features our split crown race design, allowing for quick installation and removal without specialized tools. In addition, every headset receives precision machine-engraved logos—not laser etched—for a clean, refined finish that reflects the attention to detail found in every White Industries component.

The EC34 | EC34 is commonly known as a 1-1/8-inch threadless headset and fits many road, gravel, touring, and mountain bike frames. However, headset standards can vary between manufacturers. Therefore, we recommend confirming your bike’s SHIS (Standardized Headset Identification System) specifications before ordering to ensure the correct fit.

  • A perfect match to our really sweet matching headset spacers, available separately
  • The EC34│EC34 headset is designed to fit frames with straight 34mm/34mm head tubes and straight 1-⅛” (28.6mm) fork steerers
  • The “EC” stands for “External Cup” meaning the section of the cup that houses the bearing sits outside of the frame’s head tube and the “34” stands for the 34mm “skirt” that presses into the frame.
